The Tulsa Engineering Academy at Memorial High School (TEAM) is a small magnet program focused on inspiring more students to consider a career in engineering. The TEAM members take at least one math and one science class every year. Many TEAM members take two years of calculus and two years of physics. They also choose from a variety of engineering-based classes. The Circuit Chargers Robotics Team has earned accolades for over ten years in many competitions. They work with younger students to inspire them to take the right courses and work hard through middle school. All grade levels enjoy learning through working with LEGO Mindstorms robotics kits. Crafton Tull’s donation to TEAM will be used to buy more LEGO Mindstorms robot controllers. The robot featured in the picture below shoots basketballs.
