Limbs for Life Foundation Blaze 5K

On Saturday, August 24th, the Limbs for Life Foundation hosted the Blaze 5K in Oklahoma City. The race took place along the Oklahoma River Trails and it was a beautiful morning! Proceeds from the Blaze 5K will help provide prosthetic for amputees who cannot afford them on their own. In addition to helping provide prosthetic limbs, Limbs for Life also partnered with the Oklahoma City VA for this event for their annual “Welcome Home” celebration for the troops who have served overseas as part of Operation Enduring Freedom and Operation Iraqi Freedom. Over 200 runners participated in this event!

Crafton Tull and the Limbs For Life Foundation have shared the same office building for many years so we were excited to have the chance to volunteer for their 5K event. Crafton Tull supplied water and manned the water station at the halfway turn around point in the race. We had fun morning cheering on all the runners!!
