Camp DaKaNi is owned and operated by Camp Fire, which is one of the nation’s leading not-for-profit youth development organizations who provide all-inclusive, coeducational programs across the United States. Camp DaKaNi is located on 33 wooded acres in the heart of Oklahoma City and offers outdoor educational activites for boys and girls. The camp offers activites such as archery, canoeing, fishing, rock climbing, arts and crafts, as well as hiking, nature studies and challenge courses.
Camp DaKaNi is eager to make their facilities more accessible to children with disabilities so that they can better enjoy the fun activities the camp has to offer. Crafton Tull provided pro bono survey and civil engineering services for improvements to the sidewalks throughout the camp. These new sidewalks will better connect the buildings and activity areas throughout the camp and will allow disabled campers easier mobility.
